Entropy Olfactory Ltd and its affiliates and associates provide access to the entropyolfactory.co.uk website (the “website”) and sell downloads of data, goods and services to you, subject to the terms and conditions set out below and by the privacy policy available to view elsewhere on this website. By using the website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions which together with our privacy policy govern the products and services supplied by Entropy Olfactory Ltd and Entropy Olfactory Ltd’s relationship with you while you use this website.

The term ‘Entropy Olfactory Ltd ‘or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owners of the website whose company registration number is 16681949; it includes third party companies we may use to deliver products and services to you. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Products or services purchased as a subscription and require a recurring payment are known as ‘Subscriptions’

Access to this website is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the Services without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason this website is unavailable at any time or for any period. From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts or this entire website.

Descriptions of fragrances

This site contains descriptions of fragrances. We recommend always that fragrance is experienced on an individual’s skin before a purchase is made, and we take no responsibility for any fragrance purchase that you are not happy with.

If you take a link to another website, we are not responsible for any financial loss due to a third-party site failing to deliver goods or services provided by that site.

Allergy/sensitivity warning

Perfume is potentially allergenic. All fragrances contain allergy information on their packaging. We cannot be held responsible for any allergies or sensitivity or injury arising from the use of fragrances provided by Entropy Olfactory Ltd. We do not recommend the wearing of perfumes of any kind in direct sunlight.

Flammability

Please be aware that fragrance is a flammable material. Always keep perfume bottles and samples well away from any naked flame. We cannot be held responsible for any fire resulting from products we have supplied.

Events

We organise events and attend fairs and markets. We reserve the right to cancel events for any reason and cannot be held responsible for any travel expenses incurred in case of cancellation. We will endeavour to contact attendees in the event of cancellation but cannot offer any additional compensation over and above the refund of the ticket price.

Delivery destinations

We can only ship products which contain fragrances within the United Kingdom; we do not ship to The Channel Islands. Additional delivery charges may be applied at checkout for certain postcodes. Any orders which include fragrance products and specify other destinations will be cancelled and refunded.

Terms of sale of products

Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product or service and is subject to the following terms and conditions. Your order is accepted by us when we send email confirmation and/or a redirect to a webpage which provides details of how we have made that product or service available to you. That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the order confirmation email and/or web page redirect to you.

All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.

You must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us or be in possession of a valid PayPal account.

When placing an order, you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit, debit card or PayPal account used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods.

The Perfume Society retains the right to refuse any order request made by you.

If your order is to be supplied by a third-party we will confirm the identity of the party. Your order will be subject to their terms and conditions. Where a contract is made with a third party we are not acting as either agent or principal and the contract is made between yourself and that third party and will be subject to the terms of sale which they supply you.

Delivery

We aim for you to receive your order within a week of placing it – but please bear with us: in some cases (depending on the day of the week you ordered), it can be up to a month, as perfumes are made in small batch and stock may dwindle during busy periods of the year. Your patience is appreciated.

Returns

We are unable to exchange items that are not damaged, defective or incorrect. Opened and used items cannot be returned.

If the item was damaged in transit or if the item is faulty use a contact form on this website or email jonathan@entropyolfactory.co.uk and you can return the item(s) to us within 30 days of receipt for exchange.

As soon as you find out we’ve sent you an incorrect item use a contact form on this website or email jonathan@entropyolfactory.co.uk and we’ll send you the correct item as soon as we can at no extra charge.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights

Pricing/Availability

While we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

All prices are generally inclusive of VAT and may include delivery charges; if delivery charges are over and above the price of purchase, such additional charges are clearly displayed where applicable and included in the ‘Total Cost’.

Cancellations/change to order

In exceptional circumstances we may agree to cancel or change an order. We can only accept a cancellation or change if we receive cancellation notice from you before we have dispatched your order. You will be responsible for, and your credit card may be charged for, the payment of all fees associated with orders already processed or shipped before your cancellation/change request was received.

Warranties and liability

The material displayed on this website is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy.

Unless expressly stated to the contrary, Entropy Olfactory Ltd and its suppliers, content providers and advertisers hereby expressly exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity and shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Entropy Olfactory Ltd , their directors, officers, employees, consultants, agents, and affiliates, from all third-party claims, liability, damages and/or costs (including, but not limited to, legal fees) arising from your use of this website or your breach of the Terms and Conditions.

Variation

We have the right in its absolute discretion at any time and without notice to amend, remove or vary the Services and/or any page of this Website.

Complaints

We operate a complaints handling procedure which we will use to try to resolve disputes when they first arise, please let us know if you have any complaints or comments by contacting us via a contact form on this website.

Waiver

If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are to be construed in accordance with the laws of England and in the event of any dispute or claim associated with these terms and conditions, that dispute or claim shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
