There's nothing like the experience of wandering the ancient soukhs and markets of the muslim world. It's an overdose for all your senses, and an especially unique one for the nose; clouds of incense, sacks filled to the brim with spices, leather-working factories, the scent of new carpets, burning oil and hot bodies under an intense desert heat.

Jedda means 'grandmother' in arabic (there are many versions). Shrouded in a sweet, spiced, honey rose, she is a warm hug of a fragrance; comforting, familiar and safe; she is papery hands, a kind smile and gentle words of encouragement in a world of expectation, judgement and criticism.

top notes: moroccan rose, honey, labdanum

heart notes: frankincense, myrhh, tuberose

base notes: oudh, sandalwood, opoponax
